A structural steel beam supports the assembly, flanked by four-inch steel C-channels and four-inch galvanized steel Z-channels as required for manufacturer clips. Pressure-treated wood blocking is installed at the lower flange level. The exterior is finished with perforated metal panels aligned with the bottom of the EIFS canopy line. All exposed metal channels and fasteners consist of galvanized steel, and wood shims are prohibited outside the weather barrier.
