Cold-formed metal stud partition framing is detailed with track profiles at the head condition. Openings under four feet use a single bottom track, while openings between four feet and twelve feet incorporate two six-inch by twenty-gauge metal studs. Gypsum board or similar wall lining finishes the partition assembly around the framed opening.
