A cold-formed steel deflection track terminates below a concrete-filled metal deck with a one-half inch deflection gap. The gap between the top of the deflection track and the metal deck is filled with mineral wool insulation and sealed with fire sealant applied on both sides. The fire-rated wall assembly incorporates an acoustical double wall configuration with acoustic batt insulation and acoustic sealant.
