A 3-1/2 inch by 6-inch by 1/4-inch steel base plate is anchored with three 1/2-inch diameter wedge anchors requiring a 3-inch minimum embedment. A 3-inch by 3-inch by 1/4-inch steel angle measuring 3 feet 6 inches long is welded to the base plate to provide structural support. The assembly is integrated within 3-5/8 inch metal studs spaced at 16 inches on center, finished with 5/8-inch gypsum board on both sides. Base plates and support angles are spaced at building corners and at 8 feet 0 inches on center maximum.
