A fire extinguisher cabinet is recessed into a rated metal stud wall assembly. The wall is framed with steel studs faced with layers of gypsum board. The cabinet rough opening is framed with additional metal studs to support the inset enclosure. Verify the cabinet opening size with the applicable product specifications.
