The cast iron roof drain assembly includes a receiver, clamping ring, and cast iron strainer dome mounted within roof framing. A four-pound lead sheet is set in roof cement over a ply sheet. A clamping ring is set over the completed roof membrane. A perlite cant strip is nailed to the deck at twelve inches on center.
