An interior wall corner guard is secured to the external corner of a framed wall assembly using adhesive tape applied along both flange wings. The wall construction consists of metal stud framing faced with gypsum board layers on both sides. The corner guard profile wraps the 90-degree intersection to protect the finished wall surfaces from impact damage.
