A concealed fire protection sprinkler drops through a scheduled gypsum ceiling assembly. The sprinkler head is recessed into a housing set flush with the finished ceiling plane, maintaining one-quarter inch clearance all around. Positioning dimensions are coordinated per the reflected ceiling plan.
