This overflow scupper section details the integration of a new thermoplastic polyolefin clad metal scupper flashing with a wall assembly and a sixty mil reinforced TPO membrane roof. The new metal scupper features a nine by eighteen inch rough opening, a two inch drop, and a painted metal face cover to match adjacent building colors. Elastomeric sealant and backer rod are applied on all sides of the scupper penetration. A reinforced TPO flashing is secured on all sides using appropriate fasteners at four inches on center with two inches of continuous weld on all sides and lap sealant applied to all exposed cut edges. The fully adhered roof membrane connects to the assembly using screw and plate fasteners at six inches on center in two staggered rows, with two inches minimum continuous weld at overlaps and lap sealant on cut edges only.
