An exterior door threshold assembly sits atop a concrete slab with a finish floor transition on the interior and a concrete sidewalk or platform on the exterior. An ADA aluminum bumper seal and threshold profile is anchored to the concrete substrate. A half-inch joint filler is installed in the vertical joint below the exterior slab edge adjacent to the wall face beyond.
