The storefront system sits atop a concrete slab edge with an intervening metal sill flashing featuring a back dam and minimum two-inch lap. Continuous sealant is applied under the sill flashing and at the top of the interior leg. A metal sill bracket secures the assembly using concrete fasteners. Joint filler, backer rod, and sealant seal the exterior joint at the slab edge.
