Three-eighths-inch stainless steel flashing and counter flashing are integrated into the wall assembly to provide weather protection and moisture shedding. The metal flashing extends across the horizontal surface and turns up along the vertical backing substrate, secured with sealant or fasteners at the reglet or joint. The assembly prevents water infiltration at vulnerable building envelope transitions.
