This architectural detail shows a hollow metal frame and door assembly mounted to a partition wall. Batt insulation is placed within the partition cavity where specified by the schedule. The hollow metal frame secures to the wall framing using stud anchors. Continuous sealant is applied to both sides of the frame, with fire-rated sealant used at rated partitions. Additional notes reference specific head framing, jamb framing, and frame anchor schedules, as well as UL system requirements for fire-rated doors.
