An aluminum elevator threshold aligns with the scheduled finish floor, supported by a threshold support provided by the elevator manufacturer. The assembly anchors to a continuous stainless steel embed plate set into the concrete slab edge. A sixteen gauge galvanized steel cover plate is installed below the slab, sealed with backer rod and sealant against the partition as scheduled.
