An interior stair top landing and channel stringer assembly features a structural steel channel supporting concrete-filled metal pan treads with wire mesh reinforcement. The guardrail system consists of a 1 1/2 inch diameter metal pipe top rail positioned 3 feet 6 inches above the finished floor, a 1 1/2 inch diameter bottom rail, and 1 inch diameter vertical pipe pickets spaced at 4 inches on center. A separate 1 1/2 inch diameter metal handrail pipe is mounted at a height of 3 feet on the stair side. Stair treads receive a finish material specified in the finish schedule as RT24 over a 1 1/2 inch field-poured concrete fill.
