A concrete spandrel beam and post-tensioned slab junction supports a prefinished aluminum perforated metal panel façade system. The assembly features a three-inch aluminum horizontal framing system attached to a vertical framing system by the manufacturer. The concrete spandrel includes three-quarter-inch chamfered edges and a Tex-Cote finish on the front, top, and inside faces. The post-tensioned slab-to-upturn beam spandrel joint is patched and filled to match and flush with the adjacent concrete, complete with a continuous dripmold and tapered concrete slab. A concrete swale at the pressure-treated deck slopes typically at 8.64 percent.
