This assembly shows a roof scupper penetrating a parapet wall constructed with preservative-treated wood blocking and pre-finished metal coping. The roofing membrane continues through the opening, which is lined with a sheet metal sleeve featuring hemmed edges. The roof deck consists of a four-inch concrete slab on metal deck supported by a steel beam and edge angle. A three-inch concrete topping slab sits above a protection course and a molded-sheet drainage panel. The roof surface is finished with a fluid-applied protected roofing membrane, with galvanized metal sill flashing set on a bead of sealant at the scupper opening. The exterior wall assembly includes five-eighths-inch Dens Deck sheathing, a water-resistive barrier, and six-inch cold-formed metal stud framing spaced at sixteen inches on center.
