The EIFS wall assembly comprises two inches of rigid insulation and an EIFS finish over five-eighths inch sheathing and eight-inch metal studs, with a weather barrier extending down over the metal flashing. A perforated starter track sits above a prefinished metal flashing featuring a drip edge. Backer rod and sealant are applied between the flashing and the head, color-matched to the curtain wall framing.
