Number 12 gauge support wires stabilize the suspended ceiling grid at 45-degree angles in four directions. These wires are positioned within 2 inches of the main runner and cross runner intersection. A vertical compression strut is provided at the intersection, spaced at 12 feet on center in each direction to resist seismic loads.
