Painted gypsum board is finished over three-and-five-eighths-inch twenty-gauge metal stud framing spaced at sixteen inches on center. A twenty-gauge metal stud diagonal brace is installed at a maximum spacing of eight feet on center to support the ceiling and soffit construction.
