A hollow metal door frame connects to a two-hour rated non-structural metal framing partition with designated metal anchors. The scheduled door leaf is hung with a door hinge attached to the hollow metal frame. Self-adhesive silicone is applied as needed at the interface between the door and frame. The wall assembly beyond consists of steel stud framing with layered gypsum board.
