An aluminum storefront system is integrated with a structural steel tube column using perimeter shims as required for alignment. Anodized aluminum brake metal pieces, finished to match the aluminum frame, are installed on both sides to conceal the structural column and create a finished transition. The storefront assembly ties into the structural column layout where conditions occur across the facade.
