Attachment of a plastic laminate countertop and backsplash to a base cabinet and wall assembly. The plastic laminate countertop is secured from below using two number ten wood screws through the cabinet framing. The cabinet is anchored to the wall with two number fourteen by three and one-half inch wood screws passing through blocking into a two by two by one-eighth inch steel angle, spaced at sixteen inches on center typical or two per cabinet. A plastic laminate backsplash runs vertically along the wall intersection. Detail reference four is indicated on the cabinet body.
