A pipe penetration extends through the roof assembly, maintaining a minimum height of eight inches above the finished roof surface. Single-ply roofing is installed over rigid insulation per energy calculations. Flashing is sealed at the top with an all-purpose sealant and secured with a stainless steel screw clamp, extending with a minimum two-inch horizontal lap.
