A four-inch thick reinforced concrete sidewalk rests on a compacted sub-base and features a broom finish. A one-quarter inch expansion joint with premolded filler and sealant is spaced at twenty feet on center each way. Concrete strength is specified at four thousand five hundred PSI with air entrainment.
