The head condition of a scheduled metal stud partition intersects an aluminum door frame. A metal stud slip track is housed within a continuous reinforced channel that receives the aluminum frame assembly. Typical sealant or caulking is applied at the perimeter joints between the frame and wall finishes. Gypsum wallboard layers finish each side of the partition, and dimensions are provided for framing clearances and offsets.
