This assembly details the termination of an exterior grade busduct penetration through a concrete masonry unit wall. An exterior cover plate is mechanically fastened to the masonry face, with sealant applied at all fastener locations and around the entire perimeter of the plate to ensure a weather-tight seal. A counter flashing is installed at the top edge of the assembly, integrated with sealant to prevent water infiltration at the wall opening. The electrical busduct penetration is sized and coordinated per the electrical drawings.
