A pre-manufactured heavy metal cone flashing extends a minimum of ten inches above the roof elevation, secured around the pipe penetration with continuous sealant and a stainless steel drawband positioned a minimum of eight inches above the roof. The flashing flange is anchored to the roof deck assembly with mechanical fasteners as required, with sealant applied at all seams. The surrounding roof system consists of a modified bitumen built-up roof over rigid insulation, a vapor barrier, and a structural roof deck.
