An exterior wall assembly intersects a concrete-over-metal-deck floor slab at the Level 2 elevation. The exterior finish consists of an Exterior Insulation and Finish System with a minimum R-7.5 insulation rating applied over gypsum sheathing and a liquid-applied weather-resistive membrane. Cold-formed steel framing uses 6-inch metal studs with batt insulation in the stud cavity and a 6-inch metal stud sill plate at the floor line. The floor assembly comprises a concrete slab poured over metal deck, supported by a structural steel beam. A one-half-inch clear space is maintained between the floor edge and the exterior wall assembly, and interior finishes include 5/8-inch gypsum board.
