Double metal studs frame the opening with the bottom track modified by cutting the flanges and turning up the stud. Three number 10 flat head sheet metal screws secure each side of the connection. Powder-driven Hilti X-U fasteners anchor the assembly at twenty-four inches on center with a one-and-one-quarter-inch embedment.
