A hollow structural section HSS10x6 roof beam supports the metal roof deck at the high eave, with a bent plate located per structural specifications. A continuous vapor retarder is taped to the bent plate. A two-inch sixteen-gauge stainless steel flashing is riveted to the roof deck at six inches on center with continuous sealant applied at the ends. A ridge panel ties into the exterior assembly above.
