A four-inch minimum thick concrete ramp features a medium broom finish and an eight-inch by eight-inch thickened edge resting on compacted subgrade. A twelve-inch border includes one-quarter-inch by one-quarter-inch grooves at three-quarters-inch on center typically. The assembly transitions to natural grade with a concrete curb beyond and is graded to a slope of one in twenty maximum.
