A compression post extends downward to support the ceiling grid and is stabilized by four twelve-gauge diagonal wire braces at each post. The wire braces tie into the one-and-one-half-inch main runner channels and cross runner hat channels. A gypsum board ceiling attaches to the underside of the framing assembly.
