A structural steel tube post is framed within a cold-formed metal stud partition wall with a base plate located inside the bottom track. Metal studs attach to the sides of the tubular steel post using number ten self-drilling screws spaced at twelve inches on center. The surrounding wall assembly is constructed as scheduled with a maximum spacing of sixteen inches. A stainless steel corner guard wraps the outside corner of the partition finish.
