This interior wall detail coordinates tile finishes on a gypsum wall partition with mechanical diffuser placement and ceiling heights. The assembly features tile adhered directly to the drywall partition up to a bottom-of-tile portal height of 8'-0". Higher up, the wall transitions to bottom-of-gypsum and top-of-tile elevations at 16'-0", accommodating an air diffuser positioned one foot above the transition. A referenced reflected ceiling plan establishes the bottom-of-ceiling elevation.
