A six-inch diameter Schedule forty galvanized steel pipe extends four feet above grade and is filled with concrete featuring a domed top. The pipe is embedded four feet six inches into a three thousand PSI concrete footing that measures one foot in diameter, with six inches of concrete clearance beneath the pipe base. Interior bollards receive a safety yellow paint finish while exterior bollards are painted to match a color to be determined. The footing intersects the surrounding grade or pavement level.
