A one-and-one-quarter-inch-diameter standard steel pipe handrail mounts to a concrete or concrete masonry unit wall using painted wall brackets spaced at a maximum of four feet on center. The bracket welds to the bottom of the handrail and anchors to the structural wall with two one-half-inch-diameter expansion bolts. All connections are welded and ground smooth.
