A pre-finished wall expansion joint cover bridges the transition between a metal stud framed exterior wall assembly and a concrete masonry unit wall. The metal stud framing is covered with glass-mat gypsum sheathing and a weather-resistive barrier, with an exterior insulation finish system installed over a compatible adhesive and drainage system on the exterior face. The expansion joint cover is anchored into the framing and masonry substrates to accommodate differential movement at the shaft interface.
