Double cold-formed metal studs frame the rough opening with sizing per partition types. The bottom track has cut flanges with the stud turned up. Three number ten flat-head sheet metal screws secure each side of the track. Powder-actuated fasteners with a 0.145-inch diameter and 1-1/2-inch embedment anchor the track at 16 inches on center.
