Compatible sealant is installed behind the roof membrane at the wall interface. A termination bar is fastened over the membrane with appropriate fasteners spaced approximately 12 inches on center. A counterflashing overlaps the membrane termination extending down a minimum of 4 inches. The concrete tilt wall receives a continuous air-barrier coating and 5/8-inch glass mat gypsum sheathing, with the roof membrane turning up the wall a minimum of 8 inches.
