An interior partition intersection details the junction where a perpendicular wall meets a continuous run of framing. Metal studs provide the framing support for both intersecting partitions. One-half-inch gypsum board faces both sides of the stud framing. Tape and joint compound finish the external wall corners at the intersection joint.
