A five-inch diameter schedule forty steel pipe bollard is filled solid with concrete and capped with round smooth concrete at the top. The pipe is covered with a safety yellow plastic sleeve and welded to a twelve by twelve by one-half inch steel base plate. The base plate is secured to a concrete slab using four three-quarter inch expansion anchors with a minimum four-inch embedment.
