This interior partition features non-structural metal framing with 3 5/8 inch minimum studs spaced at 24 inches on center. The 33 mil thick studs have a yield strength of 33 ksi and a maximum span limit of 14 feet. Acoustic blanket insulation is placed within the stud cavity. Gypsum board is installed on both faces of the framing. A minimum 1/4 inch acoustical joint sealant bead is applied at the base perimeter.
