An interior wall partition extends upward from the floor level to meet an existing concrete slab to remain. The assembly features five-eighths inch gypsum board on the wall face, with water-resistant gypsum board specified for use in restrooms and janitor closets. A finished ceiling intersects the partition wall at a specified dimension below the slab level.
