An overhead sectional door is mounted above an insulated metal panel wall assembly supported by a precast concrete element and an existing dock seal. Continuous gasketing is provided on both jambs and the header to ensure a complete seal when the door is closed. Ten-gauge galvanized steel cladding is mechanically attached to the panel to provide a flat mounting surface for the dock seal pad. A continuous bead of polyurethane joint sealant is applied at the jamb edge of the ten-gauge steel and at the insulated metal panel interface.
