An expansion joint assembly is anchored into a concrete substrate with threaded anchors spaced at one inch on center typically. Metal framing components align across the joint with a one-eighth inch clearance. A concrete infill fills the central gap, flanked by two metal edge flanges resting on a topping slab. The assembly maintains a one-eighth inch joint width with equal spacing on either side of the centerline. General notes refer to Section A for typical installation requirements.
