A reinforced membrane roof assembly bears on rigid insulation over roof sheathing and a metal roof joist. The membrane is secured using mechanical fasteners and fastener plates installed per the manufacturer's recommendations. Sealant is applied at joint locations with specified minimum clearances of one and one-half inches and one-half inch.
