This wall section details interior furring and finish mounted against a concrete wall or column. Seven-eighths-inch metal furring channels attach to the concrete structure, leaving an air gap between the channel and adjacent construction. Five-eighths-inch gypsum wallboard, painted, is fastened over the metal furring channels to complete the interior finish.
