A yard drain frame assembly comprises a one-and-one-quarter-inch by one-and-one-quarter-inch by one-quarter-inch steel angle frame enclosing a removable grate. The frame is supported by a continuous steel skirt and anchored with concrete anchor bolts installed at twenty-four inches on center through slotted seven-sixteenths-inch by three-fourths-inch holes. The assembly accommodates a standard three-and-one-quarter-inch height for a sixty-millimeter paver set on a three-quarter-inch to one-inch sand bed over a concrete substrate. The frame is jig-welded from steel angle and can be hot-dipped galvanized or painted to match the grates.
