A painted yellow four-inch polyvinyl chloride pipe hangs from the bottom of a concrete structure to serve as a clearance barrier at parking entrances. The pipe is suspended by a chain connected to a threshold expansion anchor insert embedded two and a half inches minimum into the concrete, secured with a three-eighths-inch diameter stainless steel eye bolt. The bottom of the pipe is set at seven feet two inches above finished floor, and eight feet two inches above finished floor at visitor parking entrances. Stenciled three-inch high Helvetica Medium black letters on the pipe state the parking clearance height.
